Alright, you said that you’re writing this for fun. Not for fame and glory, or to get this published. You’re writing it for yourself, and getting published (or, if you just post it online, having a lot of people really enjoy it) is just a bonus.Then go for it.
Any idea, original or unoriginal, can be made into something amazing. While there are some really bad ideas, even these can be good practice, and those too can be twisted around into something great. At the same time, otherwise amazing ideas can fall flat if the author doesn’t put in effort. Writing is not the idea, but how you present it. It’s all in the delivery – because of this, it’s near impossible to critique ideas.
Even more than that, this is for yourself. Do you want to write this? Are you motivated to write this idea? Are you willing to work at it? Then do it! What’s stopping you? This is for fun, right? Who cares what others think? You’re not harming them, you’re not even affecting them by just writing this.
I have seen all of the individual ideas in your plot somewhere else. Like everything else. Everything is a mixture of unoriginal ideas and made to be original. If you spend all your time looking for an original idea, you’ll never start writing. The story is as interesting as you make it. This one has potential, yes. In this case, you’ve thought about the plot, so you’ve got a better chance of making it good. Are you willing to work to make it the best it can be?
I have a minor nitpick in that, while electric sparks can start fires, I don’t see how it would lead to control over fire itself. Fire acts differently from electricity, so it would be more likely that your character would control electricity. Of course, you can probably find a way to explain this, as long as you figure out how your psychic-ability-system works. If everything in your story is internally consistent, you can break a few rules.
That said, be willing to accept critique. If you show it to other people, they are not obligated to either praise it or keep silent. Some people might really be flaming, and you shouldn’t pay any more mind to that than mindless praise. But if someone points out some flaws within your storyline or your writing or anything, you should listen to them and consider it seriously, without necessarily being discouraged from your story. There will always be something you can improve on, and when these are pointed out to you – no matter what the delivery – that’s gold.
At least, that’s if you’re concerned about improving or having people enjoy your work.

It sounds like you really are going to write a book and publish it (I suggest Christopher Little Literacy Agency – They can get you an agent) – I am an expert on reading and I can always tell when somebody is really into writing rather than the fame – and I’m not kissing up to get points or the best answer either.However, I think the names should really come last, so don’t worry about Owen or anything – you should give us a suitably lengthened appearance description and personality description when you do. It must be especially descriptive and vibrant. You must get a feeling or understanding of the character you are describing.
I think your plot is pretty much brilliant. You’ve clearly used your imagination – and that’s what readers are looking for – but you haven’t told us if they speak a different language because they’ve been split or not. So, as you can see, the plot plays a huge part in the picking of the name of a character and their personality. The character will lead you and you never know, you’re plot might change as you get to know it. As I said, the plot is immense, I love it, and I’m hoping that you’re writing skill and style lives up to it.
I can see what the other people are saying … I get the “TWILIGHT”y feeling when I looked at your work but those details can be changed. The person above is right … it does also remind me of JUMPER but I don’t think it does too much. You can go far with this work and you must take in the critism these people are saying but all in all, this is your story. If you believe in it, follow through with it. Who cares what these guys are saying? Its your choice and if a publisher likes it … these guys are just wrong.

Okay it sounds like it would be good-but then I got to “The Angency” and disliked the idea heres why, I first got the idea of the shocking from Twilgiht, and loved Twilight, probley why I liked it at the begining.
Then I got to the Angency part, and I was like might get boring (action bores me :p) and Then I realised it was like Jumper and I didnt really like Jumper. So Im gonna say this idea is too much of a copy and would be like a repeat. Try with something more orginal to get completely noticed. I have written many drafts, then realized they were too similair to others.

I heard this song was written by Outsider. I’ve read the translation of some of his songs and all lyrics Outsider wrote had deep and cool lyrics. i’m sure this song will be the same. -
