We have a wordless knowing, like we know how to cry and wail.

We start off knowing the rub between what we know is right and what we get from our parents. This builds into our world view-our truth.

The next stage is when we bring this into contact with others with same and different world views. We experience conflict with our inner selves and others accordingly.

Only when we get back to the Source do we begin to assimilate that truth into our lives.

  4. Pulsar205 Says:

Only if that truth is subjective.

What if we had one that was real and universal? One we could all use and get along with :)

  5. Pulsar205 Says:

If were all making up our own truths, there must be one no one makes up.

i think everybody is born with the fundamentals of truth before proceptions get em.its not an answer just a thought..

  7. laserofjustice Says:

Wow- that’s quite a claim, no doubt you got your facts from the voices in your head, please take your medication!

  8. betterworld1 Says:

atheists have mudered more people than all religions combined and bc of their beliefs!

  9. laserofjustice Says:

Christians like the Protestants and Catholics in Ireland who killed and maimed each other because each one saw their truth as absolute!
Jewish people and Muslims kill each other in Isreal/Palestine in the name of religion, because each one thinks they are the chosen ones with the only real truth!

I lived in Isreal/Palestine- and that made me vow to be an atheist because I don’t want to kill anyone for their beliefs.

  10. betterworld1 Says:

christians, [even most religions] although there are variations from diff. denominations basically hold up the same moral system with atheists however anything goes so its much easier to have different moral codes and “christians” who are rapist and serial killers are really atheists at heart otherwise theyd fear God. but of course all people make up their own truths to some degree or wed be perfect like jesus who always obeyed God. atheist poohoo absolutes bc they dont like Gods moral code.

  11. laserofjustice Says:

I still think you’re missing my point, to a degree, everyone is making up their truth- this is particularly so when religion is concerned. To me, my truth is right, but it wont necessarily be he same as yours. It’s when I feel that only I have the absolute truth therefore others should be eliminated that the real problems start.

Many people do many crazy things based on what is considered true for them at the time- just go back in history and see that it’s relative.

  12. betterworld1 Says:

and when people lose belief in whats true and right thats when they can be bent to do any crazy thing.

  13. betterworld1 Says:

yeah, but those are the ones who make up their own truths and their followers also have the ‘truth is relative’ attitude.

  14. laserofjustice Says:

Oh really? That is an extraordinarilly dumb thing to say! OK, so truth is absolute- Hitler believed in what he was doing and that was his truth, Stalin, also. Fundamentalist fanatics of any persuasion believe their truth is the only truth- and people die as a consequence. Anyone who has absolute 100 percent belief that they are right and their truth is the only truth are the dangerous ones.

  15. betterworld1 Says:

truth bothers you huh. thats why you make believe truth isnt absolute but subjective. thats the way very frightning types are.

  16. laserofjustice Says:

Really?! So, your truth is the same as my truth and everyone else’s truth? Truth is subjective- especially when it’s a matter of faith.

  17. betterworld1 Says:

the mans absolutly right, everybodys hypnotized like this to some degree. people doubt truth and go along w lies and this is precisly why all problems exist!

  18. GodcandyVideos Says:

Yes, they might do whatever he suggests. He is showing that they are already suggestible because of their conditioning.

  19. FritzOmnibus Says:

By the way, a suit and tie is, in its own pedestrian way, hypnotic.

  20. FritzOmnibus Says:

So, if Roy can tell these guys to switch shoes, could they walk out of there and keep doing it for the rest of their lives, unless he breaks the ‘spell’ ? Hypnosis seems like the effect of ultimate intimidation and authority. I’ll refrain from guessing Roy’s motives, but I would imagine that the draw to learn hypnosis for most young men, so inclined, would be that it’s the ultimate control/defense mechanism, especially if you have no other social standing.

  21. GodcandyVideos Says:

Only an antagonist because you are arguing for no reason. True believers understand it is faith that saves, not some special understanding about hypnosis. He’s simply sharing his unique insight and what he’s discovered about forces unseen that are at work. Exposing those forces is shining a light that can help people to come to a knowledge of the truth–not by Roy’s power, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you.

  22. inflatableclown6 Says:

Oh, Lord, I’m forever the antagonist here. I believe hypnosis is not evil. It occurs simply because of the capacity we all have to be programmed. I believe in “thy faith hath saved thee” versus “thy understanding about hypnosis hath saved thee.” Just faith in Jesus Christ is all that is required. Faith in Him precludes everything, including hypnosis. It’s not our mind that “saves us”, it’s our faith. “And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
