There is a form of hypnosis that is used for hypnotizing someone during what appears to be a normal conversation. By using covert hypnosis you have the ability to easily influence and persuade others by communicating with their subconscious mind. You can persuade people to follow your cause, believe in your ideas, help with projects, and do good deeds that benefit you and others. There are countless uses and benefits of covert hypnosis.
Picture yourself having control of any conversation and people hanging on every word you say. Imagine people being drawn to you and wanting to do whatever it takes to please you. That is the power of covert hypnosis.
Think about those people that you have come across in your life that seem to have incredible good luck. Everything just goes the way they want it, people bend over backwards to please them, and things seem easy for them. That is covert hypnosis at its best, and all too often those are people that naturally use covert hypnosis techniques without even realizing it. Now imagine mastering these skills and being one of those people. You can create your own luck and make things go your way. You would be able to affect how people view you, respond to you, and react to you.
The power of hypnotizing someone discreetly gives you the ability to impact not only your own life, but the lives of those you care about. By planting suggestions into the subconscious mind you can help others eliminate bad habits, fears, and phobias. With positive suggestions you can have a positive influence on anyone you meet.
Hypnotizing someone becomes simple when you understand how specific vocabulary, gestures, tonality, and body language allow you to turn off the subject’s conscious and analytical side of the brain and gain access to the subconscious and accepting side of the brain. While having a conversation with someone you can use these tools to communicate with and place suggestions in the subconscious mind and they aren’t even aware of the fact that they have been hypnotized. In fact it can be so discreet that they think the suggestion you planted was their own idea.
There are many techniques that can be used when hypnotizing someone such as; rapport, phonological ambiguity, embedded commands, anchoring, typing personalities and the list goes on and on. Using and mastering these techniques will transform the way you perceive people and the way they perceive you. It’s a life altering tool that gives you tremendous power in controlling your destiny.

We may think that the subject of hypnosis is quite intriguing and funny at the same time. Whenever we hear about hypnosis, our lips flash into a yet intriguing smirk, one which probably gives us a connotation that it is something that conjures thoughts of mischief. This is because we have lived in a culture where hypnosis is just regarded as a funny thought in cartoons and movies we watched before. All of the movies that we have grown up with present hypnosis as something which drives a person to fully control the actions of an individual caught in a trance. Because a person is in a hypnotic state, he is made to do a lot of actions that he did not think he was capable of doing.
Let us change that stereotypical idea about hypnosis. At this time when there are various ways how to use certain alternative medications in order to cure a disorder, anything is indeed possible. Hypnosis, as we only thought that it would be used as a mere comedic effect on some of the shows we have grown up with, is now used for intensive therapies made by psychologists. One of the most popular types of hypnosis is what we call the covert hypnosis. This is the deliberate intention of an individual to subtly communicate messages into the subconscious mind of a person without them even noticing it. Take, for example, sales people who try to offer a person their latest product off the market. Once the person considers the product but has doubts in actually purchasing it, a sales person who has the knowledge about covert hypnosis will try to talk them out of it. Through the use of verbal and non-verbal communication, the person develops a personal rapport towards the subject. Using hypnosis in normal everyday settings is normally called Conversational Hypnosis or often Covert Hypnosis. It can be covert because you don’t want people to know you are doing this with them or simply because telling them would not add much to the conversation.
NLP and Hypnosis are very much connected. A general model for how your mind operates is that you have conscious and unconscious parts to your mind. The conscious part is rational, logical and is the part of your mind that you think with. Your unconscious mind is the part that stores your memories and emotions. It also has control over your muscle movements and automatic functions such as keeping blood pumping round your body, habits and automatic bits of behaviour that we all have.
If you could give direct suggestions to your unconscious mind bypassing the discerning and critical thinking faculties of your conscious mind you could have great power over people. There are obvious limitations. Your unconscious mind is geared for self preservation so it would not follow commands to stop breathing for example. But what if you could make suggestions to get excited about a particular product, or to feel attracted to particular people or even vote a particular way in an election?
It would be easier to get a wavering voter to vote for a particularly party than someone who has voted for an opposing part all their life. Getting someone of a different sexual orientation to fall in love with you is much more difficult than say someone that already finds you attractive. Whilst it becomes increasingly less effective the more covert and the further against someone’s will you go it is possible to move people a great distance using covert hypnosis. The point though is whilst you can bypass a person’s conscious, rational, thinking mind you cannot get rid of it completely. This means at some point they will notice what you have done to them. They may not know how, but they are likely to breed resentment towards you because of how they feel. Say you are using covert hypnosis to mis-sell products. Your customers might initially go away happy because that was the hypnotic state you induced in them…but when they come out of it they are likely to feel cheated, manipulated and conned into buying something that they don’t want. The net result is returns, complaints and a huge loss of reputation.
Used appropriately covert hypnosis techniques can get people to access their deep desires and motivations and start to satisfy them. If I take the sales example when I find a customer with a need for a product, if I can find a way of linking the product to satisfy their needs at a deep psychological level they will feel great about the sale, the product and about me. The net result is very happy customers and a great reputation.
I guess you can start to think of some great applications for yourself, such as presenters increasing their charisma, linking fun and enjoyment to meeting friends or job satisfaction for your employees. Learn how to link people’s core values to the things that you want them to do is a key part of covert hypnosis and is very powerful. If you do this with things that are not good them they will feel cheated, if you do it in a way that moves them where they want to go you will create friends for life. Finding a good covert hypnosis ebook is no easy task. With the number of courses on the market, making the right investment to learn hypnosis isn’t as easy as one may think.
To start with, you have many a covert hypnosis ebook which will claim various things yet fail to deliver upon them. Examples include an ebook that tells you it will be able to teach you how to ‘read a person’s mind’ or control peoples actions through mind control. So know that the best covert hypnosis ebook is not necessarily the one with the greatest sales pitch, but it may instead be the one that offers you the ability to subtly plant discreet suggestions within people, outside of their conscious awareness.
