Hypnotizing People

My dad says humans can be hypnotize if it’s done right. Anyway, I was wondering if the same thing could be done to animals somehow if they like knew enough human words or something. I dunno!

I have had extreme social fears for a few years now. However, things started to really get insane when I started to develop this fear of talking to my closest friends in the world. They’re becoming distant and I care about them a lot, but I’m suddenly afraid of the few close friends who I have and can’t keep conversations going with them for two minutes. I actually quickly analyze every single thing I say to them. Sometimes, I can’t even look at them when I see them during school, and it’s hard for me to talk to them through AIM too because I’m so afraid. By the way, I’m not in a clique with all of them if that helps any, as a matter of fact, none of them know each other very well and 2/5 of them don’t even live in this town.

On to the important part: My aunt’s boss hypnotizes people and believes he can cure me with four meetings. This is a miracle to me that I might have this opportunity, and I really think I can be saved. I’d really like to try it out, and if my dad changes his mind and decides to pay for it, here are some questions I have about being hypnotized:

-Can something go wrong?
-Do you think it actually works?
-How does he hypnotize you? Is it scary?

You don’t have to answer all of them. Just tell me anything you know, and feel free to share your experiences.

Specifically, I want to remember what his voice sounds like, and to call up more memories. Is this possible? If so, how would I contact a reputable hypnotist? There is one here in town, but he hypnotizes people to help them stop smoking and lose weight. I don’t know if he could help. Is it expensive?

My dad says whenever they hypnotize people on the prevue channel it’s real and they have some way there’s something they do that hypnotizes the person. He says it’s some training you have to go through. I always thought it was fake and they paid those people to act like that before the show or something. Anyways, now I am scared to swing my hand in front of my eyes because I am afraid if I do it right, I will hypnotize my self. Any comments? Is it real?
