We may think that the subject of hypnosis is quite intriguing and funny at the same time. Whenever we hear about hypnosis, our lips flash into a yet intriguing smirk, one which probably gives us a connotation that it is something that conjures thoughts of mischief. This is because we have lived in a culture where hypnosis is just regarded as a funny thought in cartoons and movies we watched before. All of the movies that we have grown up with present hypnosis as something which drives a person to fully control the actions of an individual caught in a trance. Because a person is in a hypnotic state, he is made to do a lot of actions that he did not think he was capable of doing.

Let us change that stereotypical idea about hypnosis. At this time when there are various ways how to use certain alternative medications in order to cure a disorder, anything is indeed possible. Hypnosis, as we only thought that it would be used as a mere comedic effect on some of the shows we have grown up with, is now used for intensive therapies made by psychologists. Some, on the other hand, use hypnosis as a way to increase sales and productivity by using persuasive remarks. Hypnosis Classes

One of the most popular types of hypnosis is what we call the covert hypnosis. This is the deliberate intention of an individual to subtly communicate messages into the subconscious mind of a person without them even noticing it. The main purpose of this method is to alter the expected behavior of an individual to perhaps a more desirable one. Take, for example, sales people who try to offer a person their latest product off the market. Once the person considers the product but has doubts in actually purchasing it, a sales person who has the knowledge about covert hypnosis will try to talk them out of it. Through the use of verbal and non-verbal communication, the person develops a personal rapport towards the subject. By displaying feelings of confidence and understanding towards the subject, he is drawn into altering his decisions into a more desirable one. Hypnosis Classes

Ok, I’ve started to write a story.I’m thinking it’s going to be 365 pages, one for each day. Each day will have a feeling or word. Here’s an example of what I wrote the other day.

His lips curled upward in a cocky manner. “You’re gonna come” She looked up, her green eyes glowing with amusement. “Maybe” The corners of his eyes crinkled yet his demeanor was serious. “Not maybe, we need you there. You will go.” he exclaimed giving her one last hypnotizing look. She smiled contentedly and clicked her tongue. “Sure” Grabbing her plaid backpacks leather strap carefully she secretly congratulated herself. His tanned skin, mesmerizing eyes, and perfectly M-shaped lips caused most girls to lose all senses (including their minds), but she had survived. The few words from their conversation played through her head like a never ending tape.” We need you, we need you” A new feeling surged through her veins like water breaking from a dam. Belonging.

See how I made it about belonging? That’s how I want each day to be. With a theme.
