Hypnotizing People

Is it possible to hypnotize yourself as a means of self help such as improving skills or focus?

If so, for how long? I’m asking this question just because I’m curious! I don’t need to! okay i did some thing really bad and i cant get it out of my head…. and i feel like ima gonna go insane is it possible to get hypnotized for it….. but i really did learn my lesson trust me>>>> i really did>>>>

I’m so sad for them. We should try to do something. Hypnotizing people to get votes should be forbidden.

Of course I am exaggerating a little bit, but is it really possible for some ones eyes to put you into some kind of trance or more than normal concentration/suggestibility. You know what I mean, like above normal

I often read people under hypnosis never do things they don’t really want to do. Yet I have seen many videos of hypnotized people doing things that clearly were embarrassing to them later. What does this mean? Are they faking or can hypnotists make you do things you don’t want to?

Can a magician or psychic hypnotize someone without their knowing it?

My dad says humans can be hypnotize if it’s done right. Anyway, I was wondering if the same thing could be done to animals somehow if they like knew enough human words or something. I dunno!
