to be able to induce hypnosis and recall memory? is it possible for a person to influence another person that is in a hypnotized state such that person A can persuay person B’s subconsious?

would a major in psychology suffice or must i get a doctorate to be able to induce this state of mind into a person?

also, i’ve always seen hypnosis being induced by psychologists to a cooperative patient. is it possible to induce this state to a person without that person knowing?

Conversational hypnosis would seem to offer the possibility that you could discover how to hypnotize someone without them knowing it. If you are the kind of person that likes to take control off their own lives and really wants to get the most out of every opportunity then learning conversational hypnosis promises to be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made.

Often, when you talk to someone about something like conversational hypnosis their eyes glaze over and they start treating you like some sort of pet. This is because, in keeping with pretty much 90% of the population, they think you’re some sort of freaky hippie, barely clinging on to the fringes of reality. This is because they mistakenly believe that the idea that you can hypnotize someone without them knowing it is utter drivel.

However, not only do they not understand the reality of conversational hypnosis but the fact that they don’t, actually helps the skilled hypnotist to hypnotize them. Conversational hypnosis is based upon clinical evidence, scientific methodology a wealth of case history. It is a fully proven technique based upon the work of well respected psychologists and linguists such as Milton Erickson, Richard Bandler and Igor Ledochowski (to name but a few). Not only that but hypnosis has been widely used around the world for thousands of years for the treatment of numerous psychological, behavioral and even medical conditions.

Despite a popular misconception that hypnosis only works for you if you believe in it (like some kind of placebo effect) the opposite is in fact closer to the truth. In order to qualify this statement you need to understand a little about how conversational hypnosis works.

Conversational hypnotists are able to use verbal patterns to induce something called the “open trance” in people they talk to. This is no big deal and is actually an extremely common state of mind for most of us. However, whilst you are distracted in this way, the hypnotist is able to implant suggestions into your subconscious mind. However, in order to do this they need to overcome what is called the “critical factor”. The critical factor is simply the psychological defense we all have (to a varying degree) that protects us from irrational assumptions. Now my critical factor is particularly attuned to hypnotic patterns because I am acutely aware of their use. I know that they exist, and am aware of others attempts to use them on me. I can still be hypnotized but am not an ‘easy target’. However if, like most people, I knew nothing about conversational hypnosis and actually thought hypnosis was a load of bunkum I wouldn’t have that defense mechanism to such a degree. Essentially it would probably be easier for a hypnotist to overcome my critical factor and consequently easier to hypnotize me without me knowing it.

So as you can see the person who does not believe in conversational hypnosis is possibly more susceptible to hypnosis than someone who does accept its validity. Conversational hypnosis does not rely upon belief, it is reliant upon the accurate use of predetermined phrases, gestures and carefully executed body language.

That’s all very well but why would you want to hypnotize someone without them knowing it?

Well, can you imagine what it would be like to go into any social situation knowing that you are in full control of how other perceive you? What would you do if you could guarantee that people would not only like and respect you but would also be willing to do most things that you ask. What if you could walk into any business meeting or interview knowing that you can control the conversation and that you can steer other peoples decision making processes in your favor if you like. For those who have discovered and use conversational hypnosis technique this is a practical reality. However if most people they spoke to were also aware of those techniques then to process, whilst still possible, would be relatively harder to effect. Therefore, not only is it possible to use conversational hypnosis to hypnotize someone without hem knowing it but their ignorance of the process is actually a significant contributory factor to it’s success. We may think that the subject of hypnosis is quite intriguing and funny at the same time. Whenever we hear about hypnosis, our lips flash into a yet intriguing smirk, one which probably gives us a connotation that it is something that conjures thoughts of mischief. This is because we have lived in a culture where hypnosis is just regarded as a funny thought in cartoons and movies we watched before. All of the movies that we have grown up with present hypnosis as something which drives a person to fully control the actions of an individual caught in a trance. Because a person is in a hypnotic state, he is made to do a lot of actions that he did not think he was capable of doing.

Let us change that stereotypical idea about hypnosis. At this time when there are various ways how to use certain alternative medications in order to cure a disorder, anything is indeed possible. Hypnosis, as we only thought that it would be used as a mere comedic effect on some of the shows we have grown up with, is now used for intensive therapies made by psychologists. Some, on the other hand, use hypnosis as a way to increase sales and productivity by using persuasive remarks. Hypnosis Classes

One of the most popular types of hypnosis is what we call the covert hypnosis. This is the deliberate intention of an individual to subtly communicate messages into the subconscious mind of a person without them even noticing it. The main purpose of this method is to alter the expected behavior of an individual to perhaps a more desirable one. Take, for example, sales people who try to offer a person their latest product off the market. Once the person considers the product but has doubts in actually purchasing it, a sales person who has the knowledge about covert hypnosis will try to talk them out of it. Through the use of verbal and non-verbal communication, the person develops a personal rapport towards the subject.
